How does the shown object point to a better world?

I asso­ci­ate an empty motor­way with the pro­spect of shift­ing traffic more away from cars to rail, and over­all that more thought is being giv­en to this, is a busi­ness trip neces­sary or can I instead avoid the jour­ney by tak­ing advant­age of digit­al com­mu­nic­a­tion.

This is how I imagine a better world:

Free­dom, equal­ity, fraternity…these ideals are still rel­ev­ant for me and to par­ti­cip­ate in their real­iz­a­tion as long as pos­sible is import­ant and worth liv­ing for me.
